Why should I help the Azad Foundation/what is the impact of my support?

We believe that street children are one of the most vulnerable populations of the world and they deserve your attention more than any child protection issue. How do you coordinate your work with other stakeholders, to avoid duplication of services?

AF develops all programmatic strategic plans with the consultation of all relevant stakeholders including children, government bodies (local, Provincial, and federal), and civil society organizations. AF implements all programmes through govt. child protection and welfare systems.

How do I make a donation to the organization?

If you want to make a contribution to the Azad Foundation via our website, please visit our International Donation Gateway. Donations via the website can only be made using a credit card (Visa or Master Card) or direct online funds transfer to the account.

How much of my donation will go toward programs?

We expend 85% of the total budget on program costs. Expand 15% indirect project cost and admiration cost. More information about our finances and the use of funds is available through email at wajahat@azadfoundation.org.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes, donations to AZAD Foundation are 100% tax deductible. Our tax exemption number is 2940/2011-12; if you require more information regarding this please email us.

Can we Pay by PayPal?

Paying by PayPal is an option from Azad Foundation’s website. PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the merchant. Once your payment is completed, you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction.

Where do I mail my donation to the Azad Foundation?

Checks/money orders should be mailed to: Azad Foundation E135/2D Block 7 Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi-75300. Make checks payable to the Azad Foundation. Please write the reason for the donation in the memo field.

I have an issue with the Web donation I made.

Web donations will show up on our database approximately 24 hours after the transaction is completed, but donors will receive an immediate confirmation of their donation.

Can I donate if I live in another country?

Yes, we accept donations from worldwide. USA Donors can also contact their Azad Foundation worldwide office in the USA by visiting the AF Worldwide website at www.azadfoundation.us foreign donors giving in their local currency (i.e. via PayPal through credit card) will receive a mailed acknowledgment from Azad Foundation. These contributions are tax-deductible in the Pakistan and USA.

Our organization’s main objective is to rehabilitate and reintegration the street children into their society and their culture. We believe that this can be achieved best by using local staff. Our policy is therefore to employ local staff for all functions and on all levels.
